Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The origin of music is considered to be a primitive communication mathod, and has the same origin of language. Especially, we listen to music, memorizing the former part and expecting the due ending, based on push-down stack model which we utilize to understand hierarchical structure of a natural language sentence. We apply the traditional parsing technology of natural language to music score, regarding that music has also context-free grammar. However, in grammar declaration, we show that Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar excells the conventional CFG in cadential analysis of music.
