Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A method to analyze visually logical structures of sentences written by using natural language is proposed. In my former report (TL2002-24), it was shown that an inference based on a synonym of a verb (an inference such as "A tortoise walks. -> A tortoise moves") exists just like an inference based on a synonym of a noun (an inference such as "A man is mortal. -> Socrates is mortal.") exists. In the present report, I analyzed a logical sentence in a scientific paper as an example. As the result, it was shown that "Inference based on a synonym of a noun" and "Inference based on a synonym of a verb" were combined, and the logics of the entire sentences were assembled. It is expected that this method is useful when a teacher wants to show visually the logical structure of a sentence of a student.
