Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In practice there are cases when electrical apparatuses available on the market do not fully comply with requirements stated by their users. Problems of this kind may be related to both the technical parameters and functionality of the devices. Such situations most frequently concern a small batch of products, which makes constructing a new type of a given device economically unprofitable. The paper describes two cases of adapting the construction of mass-produced switches to customer needs. The first one concerns modernization of the supply system of a driving coil, whereas the other one relates to adding a function of switch lock signalling after detection of short-circuit current breaking to a serial driver of a microprocessor switch. The paper presents modernization methods and measurement results for modernized contactors.
