Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Contact behavior and operational characteristics of relay are affected by external vibration conditions obviously. The mechanical testing system is realized for investigating the contact reliability during vibration. Sweep frequency vibration (vibration frequency range is 10~1000Hz, vibration acceleration up to 98m/s^2) can be excited by this system. By using this system, the relationship between vibration frequency and limit vibration acceleration, which caused normally closed contact of some clapper relay broke is observed. Meanwhile, the pickup/release coil voltage and relative time parameters were investigated during vibration experiments. Furthermore, the motion of spring group was recorded by using high speed camera to verify the resonance frequency of relay. The conclusion which to be drawn is meaningful to the research on the anti-vibration performance of relay in practical.
