Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) T. Takagi proposed and analyzed variants of the RSA cryptosystem, in which the modulus is p^kq. He also suggested a variant of the Rabin cryptosystem with the same type of modulus. In this report we propose a Rabin-type cryptosystem with modulus p^kq that possesses a useful property of unique decipherability. We show that the proposed system has an advantage over RSA in processing speed, encryption speed in particular.
