Abstract(in English) First, the technical outline of the FTTH video distribution system employing super wide band FM conversion scheme put to practical use in NTT is described. Next, the result of examining the design of frequency modulation index of BS/CS-IF signals, the deteriorations of transmission characteristics due to residual FM components, and multiple methods of BS/CS-IF signals to realize expanding transmission bandwidth is described.
