Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A new type of Constrained Interpolation Profile (CIP) method is presented in this paper. CIP method is a kind of numerical simulation techniques which has been recognized as an effective method analyzing how to propagate electromagnetic waves recently. For enhancing the calculation accuracy, the new type of CIP method uses quadratic interpolation to calculate the spatial derivatives of orthogonal field components against the propagation direction. The new CIP method is applied to the analysis of 2-D electromagnetic wave propagation. Comparing the results obtained by the new CIP method with those obtained by the type-M CIP, type-C CIP and FDTD methods, the effectiveness of the new CIP method for analyzing of electromagnetic wave propagation is shown.
