Abstract(in English) Digital broadcasting using terrestrial, satellite, cable, and IP-based is getting spread out in Korea. However, there are difficulties to watch digital broadcasting TV because each various media has to be matched with proper protocol. Therefore, each of the protocol-sensitive receivers (set-top boxes) has to be appropriately installed for watching digital TV This paper implements the IPMG (Internet Protocol Media Gateway) which can use the different mediums as input to receive broadcast signals, and the enhanced version of IPMG which provides next-generation service of network PVR ((Personal Video Recorder). And, analyze performance of the IPMG and the enhanced version of IPMG.
