Abstract(in English) Satellite and terrestrial integrated mobile communication systems have been recently drawing a great deal of attention, where a terrestrial network and a satellite network supplement each other to enable ubiquitous communications economically. In such a satellite and terrestrial integrated mobile communication system, a small hand-held mobile terminal can be used in both satellite networks and terrestrial networks to ensure the telecommunication services even in the case of disasters, anytime and anywhere. One of the most unique features of satellite and terrestrial integrated mobile communication system is to share frequency spectrum by satellite networks and terrestrial networks, where the frequency spectrum allocated to satellite systems is shared by satellite and terrestrial mobile communication systems, aiming at efficient frequency utilization and easy implementation of satellite/terrestrial dual use mobile terminal. This report proposes a system model for frequency sharing study in the satellite and terrestrial integrated mobile communication systems. It also discusses the comparison between the normal frequency sharing operation and the reverse frequency sharing operation, where uplink frequency for satellite is used for the down link for terrestrial.
