Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to connect wireless LAN (WLAN) devices to a backbone network anywhere, this paper focuses on a relay technique for WLAN devices that also use WiMAX, which has an extensive communication area. The assigned frequency bands of WLAN and WiMAX, 2.4GHz and 2.3/2.5GHz respectively, are close. In addition, the physical separation of WLAN and WiMAX devices is very short in most terminals. This situation can be expected to result in mutual system interference due to the leakage power in the outer frequency band. To mitigate this interference, this paper clarifies the effect of mutual system interference and proposes a method that can suppress it. Simulations show that the proposed method outperforms the conventional methods.
