Abstract(in English)	Since 1990s, many research and development on context-aware services such as location-aware services proceed. In addition, cellular phones have been in widespread use and some sensors installed in cellular phones. Moreover RFID and many kind of sensors diffuses rapidly. Thus collecting real world, such as the place in a person or environment around a object, becomes easy and context-aware services become more realistic. In such environment, a context management/distribution platform which have common functionality and common platform for building context-aware services is useful. This paper shows trend of context-aware management/distribution platform related technologies and standardization activities, and NEC's activities related to context management/distribution platform.
