Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new position tracking method using sensors, such as a GPS device, an acceleration sensor, and an ultrasonic sensor, to alert an important information to a user at just the right time. This scheme enables the estimation of the user's critical location and behavior. For example, the information obtained by the acceleration sensor can be used to determine a position on the rail track where the train is, and the data measured by the ultrasonic sensor tells the distance to the ceiling, that is to say, the user's indoor/outdoor environment can be detected.
