Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A combination of communication and broadcasting systems is presently expected to create integrated new services. In this paper, we propose an effective storage-type contents distribution system by supporting both of cellular service and digital broadcasting service in a mobile terminal. AL-FEC that can recover lost packets in unidirectional links such as broadcasting systems, and a file repair mechanism for packet re-acquisitions by a communication system are assumed to be applied to the system. We evaluated performances of the contents distribution system with following FEC schemes: i) Packet transmission repetition, ii) RS code, iii) LDPC code, and iv) Combination of RS and LDPC codes. Simulation results show that users even with over 30% TS error rate in a broadcasting system can recover the entire contents file only with 1% packets reacquisition of full contents by a communication system.
