Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) P2P CDN has attracted more and more attentions as a mean to establish flexible and effieicent engineering of network resources such as network links or server CPU loads. Many researchers have validated the effectiveness of the P2P CDN approaches, however, to the authors'best knowledge, there have been no studies that addresses how the peers can be incentivized in the systems;thus, deployablity of the system with respect to user incentive is remaining as an open problem. This paper attempts to address this problem by giving a business model that the incentive to users is provided by ISP. We first show a framework how an ISP can design the optimum incentive while making a good trade-off between cost and reward. Next, we show a possible design of the P2P-based CDN architecture based on the business model. We also discuss its benefit and potential problems.
