Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) DiffServ group flows by classifying each application flow rather than identifies every application flow. And QoS control is realized by transmitting the flow according to the priority set up for each group. Therefore, DiffServ perform rough QoS control by the group, but the completeness of QoS performance is abandoned. On the other hand, there is RED as the queuing technique of DiffServ. Although RED reduces packet loss by burst traffic, however, the queueing performance may decline when the parameter setup is unsuitable. In this paper, we apply to DiffServ the dt-RED to which the parameters of RED can be dynamically changed according to the situation of network congestion. Furthermore, we extend the function which adds a more detailed priority in the same priority group by classifying an application flow.
