Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As one of a reason of increasing traffic in recent years, it is considered that video traffic and P2P traffic flow through a network and occupy the bandwidth of the network. In this paper, we focus on the video traffic, and analyze the characteristics of video traffic by using measured video traffic. For appropriate network design, we multiplex these video traffic sources and estimate the required bandwidth. By applying a numerical simulation, we examine the behavior of the video traffic and how they obtain statistical multiplexing effect.
