The Proposal of Large-scale VoIP Traffic Quality Measuring Method Using Flow-based Measurement

Abstract(in English) These days, several kind of stream traffic that requires the network performance, such as IPTV and VoIP, has been increasing in IP backbone networks. Therefore, network operators need to measure the QoS performance of traffic in real networks more easily and passively. In this paper, we present a method of measuring VoIP traffic quality measurement method by using flow-based measurement method, such as sFlow, NetFlow, and IPFIX/PSAMP. Especially, we focus on the selective sFow function. To achieve the large-scale measurement system, we have explored to implement the high capacity sFlow router. And also, we report the architecture of VoIP quality measurement system and evaluation results of prototype system.
