| 抄録(和) | 自動的な男女識別は大型商業施設やアミューズメント施設の男女別来客統計を採るのに必要とされている.従来の男女識別手法は服装や歩き方や足圧などを用いていた.しかし,これらの特徴はデザインや人間の意思で変化する.これに対して,本論文では男女の生体的特徴が反映する頬の脂肪の相違を近赤外線画像で検出する手法を提案する.実際に近赤外線顔画像から顔と髪を抽出し試行した結果,約92%の識別率を得た.このことから生体的特徴による男女識別手法の基礎が確立できたと考える.今後は他の特徴量を付加することでさらに識別率の向上を目指す予定である. |
| 抄録(英) | Male and female recognition is necessary when various statistics on the visitor are taken in commercial facilities and so on. The conventional method of male and female distinction is currently determined by using the person's appearance, the person's dress and in such cases, the way of walking, the foot pressure, the hair type. But, these characteristics can be intentionally changed by human intervention or design. The proposed method used the human face as influenced by gender characteristics of male and female. The new concept idea of the near infrared image was used resulting in a recognition rate of 92.9% for the gender. Moreover, the method established a biometrics method using the value of two body parts, that is, the face and the hair. In the future, the method used will make improvements in the recognition rate by using additional different combinations. |
