| 抄録(和) | 本論文では,正面顔画像の次に代表的な角度である横顔画像に注目し,横顔画像を利用した読唇手法を提案する.提案手法では,顔輪郭を抽出するために正規化コストに基づく輪郭抽出法を適用する.抽出された顔輪郭より鼻頭,上唇,唇接合部,下唇,顎の5特徴点を検出し,これより求まる8個の特徴量を定義する.日本語の5母音と20単語における発話シーンを撮影し,20通りの特徴量の組み合わせを選び認識実験を行った.その結果,上唇の高さ,下唇の高さ,上唇の突起長,下唇の突起長と口唇角度の5特徴量の組み合わせにおいて,母音認識で99%,単語認識で86%の高認識率を得た. |
| 抄録(英) | This paper focuses the profile view which is a typical angle next to the frontal face, and proposes the profile view lip reading method. In our method, to detect profile contour, the Normalized Cost method is applied. Five feature points, tip of nose, upper lip, lip joint point, lower lip, and chin, are detected from the contour, and eight features obtained from five feature points are defined. We gathered two kinds of utterance scene, five Japanese vowels and twenty Japanese words. We selected twenty combinations based on eight features and carried out the recognition experiment. As a result, the recognition rates of 99% of vowel recognition and 86% of word recognition were obtained with five features of two heights of lip, two protrusion lengths and lip angle. |
