Electromagnetic Field Distribution in the Area surrounded by Many Wires

Abstract(in English) Authors have been trying to estimate theoretically the EM wave reducing effectiveness (or rejection effectiveness) by the arrays of conductive thin wires. The calculation results revealed the suppression effectiveness and the near field pattern. As an example, the scattering and shielding of conductive thin wire linear-arrays for the TM plane wave were estimated. Not only the scattering of external EM waves but also shielding of some enclosures composed with thin wire arrays were studied. This report treats the latter case i.e. the thin wire array lined on a circle making a tube is analyzed to evaluate the shielding effectiveness as well as the field distributions in and around the structure. The near fields formed by the wire system that includes an active wire or a wire driven by an external power source are shown.
