Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Existing line-up of capacity of battery for aerospace is limited, so it is difficult to flexibly fulfill a various electrical power demand of a spacecraft if required. In some cases, this results in increasing the cost and the weight of the spacecraft because of equipping with a battery of surplus capacity. In this paper, to solve this problem, we propose a new satellite battery system using both auxiliary cells and a bidirectional converter, which enables to flexibly design battery capacity for spacecrafts.
