Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In our previous research, a threshold based routing protocol (ATRP) for wireless sensor network in the highly correlated region (HCR) considering the changes of environment had been proposed. However, this protocol is not appropriate to an environment with a large number of HCRs. In this paper, a two-hop mechanism is utilized for improving the energy efficient of the system has been proposed. When the numbers of HCRs and individual nodes increase, they are grouped before transmitting sensed data to the sink. Our simulation results show that utilizing ATRP with two-hop mechanism can help prolonging the network lifetime compared to the conventional system such as LEACH.
