Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Life log data, stored information about an user's experience, increases with time passage, thus it will be too large to process. Generally, we append metadata to each life log data to process life log data efficiently. If we can use one's impression as metadata, it very beneficial because we can use it in various situations, e.g. we can automatically provide appropriate service for him/her, we can evaluate contents by subjective assessment easily, and of course, we can classify life log data according to his/her impression. For this purpose, several methods to estimate one's impression from his/her physiological measure are suggested. There are, however, so many individual differences in physiological responses that choosing prepare physiological measure to estimate metadata is difficult. In this paper, we propose selection method for optimal measure to find desired metadata, and indexing the metadata estimated by selected one. In order to implement this processing, we modeled information transfer between metadata and physiological values, quantified transferred information. We can choose measure by the amount of transferred information. Moreover we examined relationship between metadata selected by our method and subjective evaluation.
