Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper an enabling architecture for cognitive radio (CR) sensing based on smart spectrum sensors is presented. Interaction between the different functional units of the architecture is explored. The data items and structure defining a common interface between sensing units and the CR is addressed. Depending on the the channel conditions between sensors (sensor-to-sensor channel) and between sensor and the radio (user-channel), different use cases namely parallel sensing, cooperative sensing and gateway assisted sensing are envisaged. Computer simulation results are provided to validate the concepts.
