Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A fractional sampling scheme in an OFDM receiver has been proposed to separate multipath components and achieve path diversity with a single antenna. However, it necessitates high oversampling ratio to ensure the quality of wireless communications and it results in increased demodulators. On the other hand, a scheme that selects the initial sampling point according to frequency response of channel to obtain diversity gain has been proposed as a conventional one, but the improvement of its performance is limited as oversampling ratio goes high. In this paper, a sampling point selection scheme, where an interval between sampling points is not fixed, is proposed. Numerical results through computer simulation show that the proposed scheme enables the almost same BER performance as conventional scheme with fewer demodulators.
