Abstract(in English) | As a result of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) by OECD in 2006, it was shown that Japanese educational system was weak in the reading comprehension and the description type problem. This affected the revision of the national curriculum standards course notified in March, 2008. In this study, we investigated the frequencies of some important terms such as "language activity," "practical use" and "information ethics" in "on the national curriculum standards reform for kindergarten, elementary school, lower and upper secondary school and schools for special needs education" (Jan. 17, 2008), the "national curriculum standards for lower secondary schools" (Mar., 2008) and "on the fundamental law of education and basic promotional plan for education" (Apr. 18, 2008) to clarify the characteristics new national curriculum standards. |
