| 抄録(和) | 近年,インターネットにおける動画配信の急増が目覚ましく,今後,大容量リッチコンテンツ配信の普及が予想される.リッチコンテンツ配信の所要伝送帯域は大きく,ISPにとって消費NW資源量を最小化する効率的な配信システムの構築が急務である.リッチコンテンツを経済的かつ快適にユーザに提供するためには,ISPが自ら大容量のサーバ拠点を自身のNWの限定された箇所に最適配置し,集中的にサーバを最適選択するISP型CDNが有効であり,筆者らはISP型CDNに適したコンテンツ展開法,配信処理法,サーバ拠点配置法について検討した.本稿では,コンテンツの拡散特性,平均ホップ長の推定精度,31のISPのNWトポロジにおける総トラヒック量の削減効果について評価し,ISP型CDNの有効性について検証する. |
| 抄録(英) | It is highly anticipated that downloading rich content with huge size, such as movie content, becomes a popular service on the Internet in near future. The transmission bandwidth consumed by delivering rich content is enormous, so it is an urgent matter for ISPs to design the efficient delivery system minimizing the amount of network resources consumed. To provide users rich content economically without stress, it is effective that an ISP itself optimally provides servers with huge storage capacity at a limited number of locations within its network. So, the authors investigated the content deployment method, the delivery process, and the server allocation method which are desirable for the ISP-operated CDN. In this paper, we evaluate the content deployment process, the estimation accuracy of the average hop length, and the reduction effect of total amount of traffic over 31 topologies of actual ISPs, and we clarify the availability of the ISP-operated CDN. |
