Evaluation of inter cavity transmittance of a fiber Fabry-Perot etalon

Abstract(in English) Inter cavity transmittances of fiber Fabry-Perot etalons with different cavity lengths, ferrule materials and adhesives are evaluated. Inter cavity transmittance of fiber Fabry-Perot etalons made of zirconia, borosilicate glass, and glass-ceramic ferrules is found to be 0.99. These for etalons whose cavity lengths ranging from 3 to 5mm vary within only an amount of 0.004.
