Abstract(in English) In Japan, the number of FTTH subscribers has already reached 13 millions and it is forecasted to increase at accelerated pace. To meet the subscriber's rapid increase, it is necessary to increase the number of FTTH installation per day. Therefore, new cables and accessories which can be easily constructed in a short time are beneficial for future information society. We have developed Both-ends connectorized spiral drop cable. The elastic spiral drop cable is appropriate as a connection cable between aerial access cable and subscriber from viewpoint of adjusting cable length. In this paper, we introduce new cable's configuration and propose a new wiring concept which can reduce cost of FTTH deployment.
