The measurement of the psychological reactance in judgments on the computer

Abstract(in English) This study examined the influence of psychological reactance on choice tasks which were given by a computer. Although psychological reactance was a well-known phenomenon among interpersonal relationships, it was unclear between computer- media and person relationships. Subjects were asked making a series of choices from two items presented repeatedly on the computer screen to be random order. In some choices, an arrow or CG character was appeared at the center between two items and indicated either item. When an arrow indicated an item, subjects tended to avoid to choice it. When CG character indicated an item, they didn't alter to choice items. These results suggests that psychological reactance occurs even between computer-media and person relationships and depends on leading images
