Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We found a new illusion in the Cast-Shadow-Illusion display. That is, when two objects bumped against each other, the perceptual collision position was different from the physical one. We investigated how this illusion was affected by horizontal acceleration and wave form by the method of constant stimuli. We found that when a two objects moved at gathering speed and when the wave form was sinusoidal wave, this illusion was the strongest while when two objects moved reducing their speed and when the wave form was sinusoidal wave (full-wave rectification), little effect was found.
