Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Accurate reaching towards a visual target becomes difficult in the reversed visual field because of the discrepancy between apparent and spatial positions. The effect of visual information was prominent in such a way that reaching with visual information was much slower and more accurate than without it. Moreover reversed visual information made the reaching trajectory winding. These results suggest that people utilize visual information to correct the trajectory of reaching in the reversed visual field.
