Representation and evaluation of a high accurate formula for bit error rate in terms of CNR

Abstract(in English) So far, accuracy of theoretical formula for BER (Bit Error Rate) in terms of CNR for 64QAM that is used for terrestrial digital television and so on has not been enough. In particular, when CNR goes lower, difference between measured and calculated values becomes larger. Therefore, we represented an exact formula expressing BER in terms of CNR using two dimensional probability density function and showed that its accuracy was very satisfactory. By using this accurate formula, in case that measured values differ from theoretical ones, its factors can be discriminated clearly, which is very effective for analyzing system operation and improvement.
