Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper analyzes the different mechanism of coupling in λ/4 coplanar combline and interdigital resonators. Method to control the coupling coefficient is proposed for the both configurations. With the proposed method, the coupling coefficients can be changed from almost zero to 1 for the broad-side coupled resonators with very small spacing. Thus it becomes possible to design a narrow to wide-band miniaturized BPF (Band Pass Filter) made of broad-side coupled λ/4 coplanar resonators.
