Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed the SIP dial-up method controlling IKE/IPsec connection with SIP signaling for establishing remote access. However, we still remain a practical issue that requires SIP stack pre-installation on a user device. In this paper, we attempt to improve the SIP dial-up method to create an End-to-End VPN connection between the user device without SIP stack and VPN gateway controlled with SIP signaling (SIP VPN GW). We introduce proxy-box creating VPN connection to the SIP VPN GW in stead of the user device. The proxy-box which is controlled with a typical Web browser relays IKE/IPsec packets from the user device to the SIP VPN GW. Our new method realizes the VPN connection to SIP VPN GW if equipping standard Web browser and IKE/IPsec stack on the user device.
