Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The Internet is attractive because of its global reachability, while it causes security problems. On the other hand, a virtual private network (VPN) improves security by way of reachability restriction. However, its closed feature is problem for convenient accesses. In order to achieve both wide reachability and strong security, some approaches try to provide multiplexed VPN access services. Such services are promising for enterprise networks, while they should meet multiple security policies. For example, contents should be scrubbed at gateways in some intra-enterprise networks, while they should be encrypted in inter-enterprise networks. This paper presents a trend of such a VPN-based communication technology including our studies. |
