Practical Evaluation of an Iterative Application Layer Multicast Tree Construction for Multi-source Multimedia Communication

Abstract(in English) Application Layer Multicast (ALM) is effective to disperse data delivery load on end nodes; however, unfairness of communication quality is still a serious problem in multi-source multimedia communication. To improve fairness and total of communication quality among users in multi-source multimedia communication, we give an iterative ALM tree construction method. Experiment in practical environment shows that this method improves fairness and total of the communication quality in a step wise manner.
