Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Helix type traveling wave tube (TWT) is a microwave amplifier device widely used for tele-communication satellites. Helix type TWT consists of slow wave circuit including three dielectric props to support helix circuit in the metal shell. Electromagnetic wave is amplified by interaction between the electromagnetic wave and electron beam. There are stary electrons that cannot be controlled in electron beam. If the stray electrons hit the dielectric prop, the electric prop is charged. In this paper we simulate the charging process of dielectric props by numerical simulation.
