Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) CST Particle Studio simulation software was used to investigate the electron emission characteristics of CNT field emitters with various negative cathode biases, and electron emission characteristics were enhanced under the negative biasing on the cathode electrode. By changing cathode voltages from +500V to -500V, the turn-on fields were decreased from 0.53×10^8V/m to 0.44×10^8V/m and emission current were increased from 0.27×10^<-12>A to 11.80×10^<-12>A, because of the relative enhancement of local field strength.
