Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a new scheme that can perform perfect time-reversal operation of the optical wave propagation dynamics in the optical waveguide arrays. The scheme utilizes a staggered 0-π phase-imprinting on the optical waveguides. If the phase-imprinting is performed at z=z_0, the initial distribution of the optical wave is regained at z=2z_0. Although the nonlinearity of the waveguides deteriorates the fidelity of the time-reversal operation, if the two-step phase-imprinting is performed on the waveguide arrays, the time-reversal operation becomes nearly perfect.
