R=1mm 90°-Bent Multi-Mode Optical Fiber 2 : The study of the bending loss by using BPM simulation

Abstract(in English) The 90°-bent optical connector for the optical interconnection we developed is a multimode fiber with the bending radius of 1mm and the bending part is surrounded by low refractive index UV curable resin. We have estimated the bending losses of this structure by BPM simulation using several lower modes. In addition, the estimated bending losses of some combinations of these modes are calculated.
