Abstract(in English) MAC layer function newly defined in IEEE802.15.3c 60GHz wireless personal area network (WPAN) standardization has been described. Target of 15.3c is PHY/MAC modification for more than Gbit/sec wireless transmission at MAC-SAP using 60GHz. In addition to legacy 15.3/3b MAC definition, frame aggregation, beam forming, channel probing, and un-equal protection have been defined. Details of new MAC function have been presented and showed the performance. Furthermore, cross-layer architecture for improvement of MAC function efficiency has been discussed.
