Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When a primary system and a secondary system share a frequency spectrum, a secondary station have to sense the signal of the primary system, and avoid interference to the primary system by suppressing its transmission. Therefore, there is a tradeoff between interference suppression to the primary system and the link success probability of the secondary system. Multi-hop cooperative relaying can reduce transmit power, where stations forward the received signal using transmit diversity techniques. The end-to-end transmission performance and the interference to the primary system of multi-hop cooperative relaying are evaluated by computer simulations.
