Abstract(in English) We have been studying MIMO techniques to enhance the frequency use efficiency of an 800MHz-band FPU system, which is often used for mobile relay broadcasting. After conducting a transmission experiment in an urban area, it was confirmed that the ability to separate transmitted streams decreases in a line-of-sight (LOS) environment where the receiver is far from the transmitter, or in an environment where a power difference between received streams exists. We then examined the possibility of improving the signal detection performance in the same environments using iterative detection and decoding (IDD) in LDPC-Coded MIMO for the 800MHz-band FPU system. However, when introducing long term interleaving into the system, the general IDD receiver with a de-interleaver and an interleaver is not a practical solution because it causes a long processing delay in proportion to the number of IDD loops. In this report, we propose an IDD receiver that is equipped with a de-interleaver before the spatial filter processing to solve the time delay problem, and then show by computer simulation that it can improve the bit error rate effectively in either or both of the two previously mentioned environments.
