Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A human movement tracking system is helpful for supplying various information such as realtime status and guides of the place, or emergency exit. In airport, it can serve aircraft schedule, airport facilities, floor guide in the airport, search for lost baggage, and boarding announce to a passenger. Tokai Bureau of Telecommunications, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications did an experiment of this human movement tracking system in Central Japan International Airport and demonstrated a great effect. The experimental system, however, was constructed only at one check-in counter. For the quick-installation and performance improvement, ZigBee system is thought as an effective component of the system. Therefore, in this study, we analyze the performance of the human movement tracking system assumed to be constructed in a whole check-in floor by ZigBee by the computer simulations. Furthermore, we compare the performance of 2.4GHz and 950MHz ZigBee in simulation.
