Abstract(in English) Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) transmission has been investigated in order to increase data rate in the Evolved UTRA downlink. In particular closed-loop control is employed in order to improve MIMO performance, namely link adaptation scheme with predefined Modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table, codebook based precoding and dynamic rank adaptation. In this paper throughput performance of MIMO in Evolved UTRA downlink is presented assuming feasible configuration of uplink control channel for those feedbacks considering necessary frequency for reporting of channel state information. Those feedback configuration aspects are considered including behavior of precoding information overridden by rank information due to simplified procedure for periodic reporting and requirement on reliable reporting.
