Abstract(in English) | In the paper, we present our measurement campaigns in a typical meeting room to get multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels. Based on the data, the performance of multiuser MIMO systems employing the block-diagonalization (BD) scheme and the eigenbeam-space division multiplexing (E-SDM) technique for downlink transmission is evaluated in actual time-varying fading environments. Simulation results show that due to a channel change during the time interval between the transmit weight matrix determination and the actual downlink data transmission, the performance is much degraded because of inter-user and inter-substream interference. Here, we propose two methods of channel extrapolation, linear extrapolation and second-order extrapolation, to compensate for the channel change. Simulation results show that applying the proposed methods to the systems, much better performance can be obtained. |
