Abstract(in English) | The advantage of single carrier modulation with frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) includes lower PAPR (Peak to Average Power Ratio) than that of OFDM and its good BER performance equivalent to that of OFDM. However, conventional SC-FDE needs Cyclic Prefix (CP) insertion to avoid inter-block interference due to multi-path fading, resulting in inefficient frequency utilization. To solve the above-mentioned problem, overlap FDE, which does not need CP, has been proposed. This paper describes channel estimation using short CHU sequence with frequency domain interpolation for overlap FDE. It also shows the performance evaluation results of overlap FDE by computer simulation. |
