Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Stacked structures commonly used to enhance the bandwidth of input impedance. Previously, the bandwidth enhancement technique for the patch antenna is investigated that uses an equivalent network model. This equivalent network model is referred to that of a band-pass filter. Then, the stacked patch antenna configuration with low profile and wideband characteristics is proposed, which has two slot-apertures between the excited and parasitic elements. In this report, the coupling coefficient of the proposed antenna are investigated. The coupling coefficient is derived from the group delay of S11. As a result, it is revealed that the bandwidth of the proposed antenna widen because the coupling coefficient between the patch antennas decreases.
