Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we describe a novel channel allocation method for improvement of bandwidth utilization and evaluation results of this mechanism for COF-PON system. According to our simulation, the throughput of conventional system which does not have bandwidth sharing mechanism is about 73% for the data loss rate of 10^<-9>, on the other hand, throughput of the proposed system which has 2ch bandwidth sharing mechanism is about 88% for the same data loss ratio.
